Congress Information
The Society for the Advancement of the Breeding Research in Asia and Oceania (SABRAO) was established in 1961. It is a comprehensive academic organization covering plant and animal breeding, with membership expanded to more than 60 countries and regions. The association’s journal, The SABRAO Journal of Breeding and Genetics, is an SCI-indexed journal (JCR Q2, impact factor 1.7).
The 16th International Congress of SABRAO is hosted by the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The congress will feature in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as genetic resource exploration, molecular design breeding, development of high-yield and high-quality varieties, smart agriculture, and stress biology. It aims to provide a high-level platform for global breeding scholars to share the latest research achievements and technological breakthroughs, jointly envision the strategic direction of breeding science in promoting sustainable agricultural development, and foster academic cooperation and technology transfer.

Please register on the official website of the 16th SABRAO International Congress and submit your abstract online. The abstract format template can be downloaded from the congress website.
In conjunction with the congress, a special issue will be published. High-quality manuscripts that are accepted after peer review will have the opportunity to be officially published in The SABRAO Journal of Breeding and Genetics (https://sabraojournal.org).
